RAYS OF SUNSHINE
Well today was a beautiful Sunday
Sun shining birds singing and my shift began at noon.
I was feeling a tad bit sad and blue,
Then i met a friend on the way to work,
My mother thanked me for doing the grocery shopping
My patients were grateful today
Of special mention is Edith, shes asthmatic and pregnant
But bubbly of full of joy even during an attack she laughs
She always greets me with a smile
Full of expectation and happiness
With a loving husband and child on the way
She reminds me that you can always smile
She made me smile today
