Today was an interesting day,
Work was so busy i never got time to sleep
Then a little baby boy taught me the meaning of fighting
Hes one year old with heart failure who was in distress
I did all i could not to lose him till i sat by his bed crying
Then i got down on my knees and asked God to step in
The baby got well then the patient next to him had a psychotic break
Almost smashed him with a monitor but thank God we stopped him
I swore i would have killed him then later in the psychiatric wing he coded
Rushed there and kneeling by his side i resuscitated him
Till we took him to ICU only to be told we should have brought him earlier
